New interface, June 2026Hi, I want to add some comments to this feedback:

Wind gust: We aligned the Android app to the iOS app, which shows wind gusts when the wind speed reaches a certain level, but not for low wind speed. We can easily bring the wind gust back for all conditions if that is a frequently requested feature.

Satellite images: Can be reached under maps -> Satellite. Once you selected the satellite map, the maps preview on the main screen will also show the satellite map. However, technically speaking it would also be easy to bring back a dedicated satellite map screen.

option to switch to the old design: I am sorry to say, but this will not happen. With the app redesign, we also changed the underlying framework for the whole UI, and it would technicly be very difficult to let both frameworks live together in the same app.

Unclear rainSPOT widget – is this hourly or daily?We will add the timerange in the next or the following release. As Miloslav said, by default the widgets shows a 3 hourly range, but if you switched your forecast in the app to hourly values, the widget will too.

duration of satellite image animationsHi and thanks for the feedback.
In the previous app, we had a dedicated Satellite-View. Now its part of the larger map-views, and recognizing a subscription from there is a bit more difficult. We currently can not say if its coming back.
However, you still have the option for longer animations on the Radar View.
