The meteoblue app does not have its own login page or a separate account. Your subscription is automatically recognized via the Apple ID or Google account you were logged into on your device at the time of purchase. This subscription is permanently linked to that Apple or Google account.
Why the website and app are separate:
The meteoblue website and app are structured differently from both a technical and organizational standpoint:
App subscriptions are processed through the App Store or Google Play.
Website subscriptions are handled directly by meteoblue AG.
For these reasons, it is not possible to merge or transfer app and web subscriptions regardless of whether you’re trying to link from the web account to the app or vice versa.
How to find out which account you used to purchase the subscription:
iOS: Check under Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. All active subscriptions linked to your current Apple ID will be displayed there.
If nothing appears there, you may have been signed in with a different Apple ID at the time of purchase.
Check in the App Store under Your Profile → Purchased, or contact Apple Support directly they can track purchase histories across different Apple IDs.
Reinstalling the app and then selecting “Restore Purchases” can also confirm whether you’re signed in with the correct account.
Clear the cache: Sometimes it also helps to clear the app’s cache (or uninstall and reinstall the app) so that subscription status and account information are resynchronized.
If Family Sharing is enabled in your Apple ID settings, it’s also worth checking there, as shared subscriptions may be visible through that feature.
Regarding the Windy login: This is a separate service not affiliated with meteoblueso logging in with your Apple ID there has no effect on your meteoblue subscription.
If you still can’t find your subscription, your only option is to contact Apple or Google Play Support directly.
