Unfortunately, I find the new version much less practical than the previous one.
In the Forecast tab, it is now impossible to view today’s wind conditions. You can see the wind forecast for the next 5 days, but the current day’s wind information is no longer available. This was a very useful feature, especially for checking real-time conditions.
Also, the Meteogram is now displayed in German, and I cannot find any option to change the language back.
For me, this update feels like a significant regression in usability. It is a shame, because Meteoblue was one of the most useful weather tools available.
I hope these issues can be fixed in a future update, or that the previous functionality can be restored.

Météo Blue était ma référence surtout pour les vitesses du vent , désormais plus de vent maxi ???? Cette nouvelle présentation n'améliore en rien l'appli !! 🙃😡
@sylverfox exactement ! On voit le vent des jours suivant, mais pas celui du jour. Comment ont-ils pu passer à côté de ce détail énorme ???!! À croire qu'ils ont demandé à une ia de transformer leur app. Dommage.

Wind gust: We aligned the Android app to the iOS app, which shows wind gusts when the wind speed reaches a certain level, but not for low wind speed. We can easily bring the wind gust back for all conditions if that is a frequently requested feature.

Satellite images: Can be reached under maps -> Satellite. Once you selected the satellite map, the maps preview on the main screen will also show the satellite map. However, technically speaking it would also be easy to bring back a dedicated satellite map screen.

option to switch to the old design: I am sorry to say, but this will not happen. With the app redesign, we also changed the underlying framework for the whole UI, and it would technicly be very difficult to let both frameworks live together in the same app.

Thanks! Bringing back the gusts would be amazing.
The gust info is essential. Maybe for medium or big aviation it's not that important below some 50kph, but for small aviation 15 gusting 30 versus 15 gusting 40 is the difference between flyable and non-flyable, safe and not safe. Same in mountain areas for even lower wind speeds. 3 gusting 15 is acceptable, 3 gusting 28 may be too much for some pilots.
It tells us how turbulent the air will be, and also matters for an aircraft's top speed. If gusts exceed that speed, you find yourself flying backwards temporarily. Not fun.

What I liked about the old probability bar was that it exploited pre-attentive processing. Before you'd consciously read anything, you'd already registered lots of green = good, yellow creeping in = becoming uncertain, and black/red = don't put too much faith in this forecast. That all happened in a split second.
The new circles require a conscious step: How many rings are there? Which ones / how many are faded? Is four better than three? What does faded mean again? It's only a second or two, but multiplied by hundreds of glances over a year, it becomes noticeable. Visual management was perfect before -
What does this % value indicate please?Also, for us sailors we really need wind gust info no matter how light. Can you please put it back? The app was perfect before the change

@athertop a long press will give you the answer a glance can't. As a badly designed app showing a number who has no meaning by itself, dropped in a random place.
If you can't find, this the % chance of precipitation for the day.
@m-r-33 thanks for that. I think the ambiguity was brought about by it being placed under the daytime icon, where sometimes we see a high % value but no rain forecast on the daytime icon. Clearly it's the probability for the entire 24hrs, but not immediately obvious. Thanks for pointing out about the long press tip popup.
