Hello, and thank you for your question.
Currently, meteoblue Premium subscriptions for the mobile app can only be purchased through the Google Play Store (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS), with payments linked to the respective app store accounts. There is no option to buy the app or subscription via voucher, coupon, or direct payment outside these stores at this time. Many premium features are available on the meteoblue website, where purchases can be made via browser without app store accounts.
We hope we were able to answer your questions and wish you pleasant weather with meteoblue.

Hello Miloslav,
thank you for your reply. I have website account and purchased there, but it is shame that this cannot be transfered to Android App and relies on 3rd party store. I have to use browser on phone and access service there...I hope this will change in future, since you are Swiss company and we all know about current geopolitical tech dependecies and concerns.

Hi, thanks for the response. I see your point. Unfortunately we need to keep our browser subscription and app subscription separated. Stay tuned please, we will inform you regarding any future changes.

@Miloslav-Tlamicha you could comply with the EU DMA regarding 3rd party payment processors, or even 3rd party app stores (Uptodown is for example endorsed and officially used by Vivaldi), it would make life for degoogled users a lot easier. In Windy and Mapy I can subscribe on the website, and that carries over to the apps themselves.
