The satellite image with the radar map indicates that it's raining in my area.
But it's not raining here, and it hasn't rained since yesterday.

There’s a technical explanation for this: Radar and satellite systems reach their limits when measuring precipitation, especially with very light rain, drizzle, or snow. Discrepancies can also occur in complex terrain such as valleys, as well as due to interference.
Satellite images also have lower resolution; especially at night or over snow-covered areas, this can lead to inaccurate estimates.
It’s best to check the situation directly on our radar.
It shows the current precipitation situation, updates every 15 minutes, and can even be played back as an animation in 1-minute increments—available worldwide.
Radar stations are usually located on mountains and detect precipitation via reflected waves. This works very well for the current situation and the next two hours.
For longer periods, weather models take over, since radar naturally cannot detect rain that has not yet formed (for example, a thunderstorm that will form later).
For further analysis, you can also use the precipitation map. It shows the 7-day forecast in hourly intervals, with a model selection in the bottom right corner.

I had chosen the "satellite with radar" map.
I thought the map was a "fusion" of the two.
Now I don't remember what the radar map showed.
Next time I'll check and complete the post with the two images.
