- Navigation menu (left-hand side) — standard meteoblue site menu.
- Map categories menu (right-hand side) — switch between map types, variants, and elevation levels.
- Zoom controls (top right) — + and – buttons; > button collapses the right menu.
- Colour legend bar (bottom left, on select maps) — explains colour coding & units.
- Time slider (bottom) — shows forecast range, lets you move through time.
- Play button (real-time maps) — animates satellite or radar layers; forecast frames have a blue time indicator.
- Calendar icon — access historical satellite images from 2019 onwards (point+ required).
- Advanced settings (bottom right) — add overlays (wind, pressure, temperature obs), generate screenshots, get share links, and see copyright info.
- Location click options:
• Show meteogram for that point
• Start Cross-Section (point+ feature)
• METAR (click airport on METAR map for full report)
