    Hello, and thank you for your question. The meteoblue app subscriptions on iOS and Android and the website subscriptions, such as point+, are managed separately. Your Premium subscription on the iPhone app does not include access to point+ features on the website, so a separate payment is necessary to use those services online. This separation exists because synchronizing subscriptions across app stores and the website involves complex data sharing and additional costs. Currently, app subscriptions do not grant website features, and website subscriptions do not cover app features.     Hello, and thank you for your question. meteoblue relays official severe weather warnings issued by national meteorological authorities, which are updated approximately every 5 minutes and cannot be modified by meteoblue. While official warnings may come shortly after weather changes begin, meteoblue offers tools such as nowcasting, radar data, ensemble forecasts, predictability indices, and precipitation probabilities to help anticipate fast-changing weather conditions before official warnings are issued. However, custom or advance warnings beyond official alerts are not currently supported. Minute-by-minute updates are limited by model and data constraints, so rapid weather changes may sometimes occur before official warnings are issued.     Hi there :) Subscriptions purchased through Google Play are linked to the specific Google account used for the purchase and will only be recognized on devices signed into that same account. To activate your Premium subscription on your Android phone, please ensure you are logged into the identical Google Play account used on your Chromebook. It may help to uninstall and reinstall the app while signed into the correct account, clear the cache and storage for both the app and Google Play Store, and sign out of any other Google accounts that might cause conflicts. Also, verify that your subscription is active in the Google Play Store under Payments & subscriptions.

    Hi :) The percentage sign under the weather symbol indicates the precipitation probability, which is the chance of more than 0.2 mm of rain occurring during the specified time period. Hope this clarifies it :)

    Hi! The issue with favorites disappearing and the favorites button showing a blank screen is a known bug affecting the Android app, especially on devices running Android 12 and 13. Favorites may not display correctly, and the favorites tab can appear empty or flicker. Currently, no immediate fix is available, but updates are being developed and tested to resolve these problems.     Hello, and thank you for your question. Currently, the UV index is shown only as a daily highest value and is not included in the hourly forecast. We have received requests to add hourly UV index data and to integrate it into hourly or 24-hour forecast tables, and these have been forwarded to our development team for consideration. The hourly forecast is designed to provide a simplified overview and does not include every parameter, such as the UV index. At this time, the forecast API provides the UV index only as a daily value, and there is no confirmed timeline for adding hourly UV index data or an overview widget. The rainSPOT widget displays precipitation distribution in a 7x7 grid for the time interval preceding the indicated time, usually representing rainfall accumulated over the three hours before the displayed time (for example, 05:00–08:00 for an 08:00 rainSPOT). The target-like icons illustrate the spatial distribution and uncertainty of rainfall but do not include explicit labels for hours or days, which may lead to some ambiguity. The “0–2 mm” values refer to the precipitation amount accumulated during that preceding period, not daily totals. There are currently several known issues in the meteoblue Android app that affect the saving and display of favourites. As a result, favourites may not be saved correctly, or the list may appear empty until a new favourite is added. This may be caused by storage issues or app errors that prevent data from being saved properly. We recommend checking your phone’s storage and app settings, granting the app access in storage management tools, restarting the app, changing your location, restarting your device, and updating or reinstalling the app. A long-term fix is already in the works. On Android, if clearing the cache and reinstalling the app does not resolve the issue of maps and radar not displaying, it is possible that a system-wide ad blocker, such as Blokada, is preventing the necessary network requests. We recommend disabling this type of app or whitelisting meteoblue. Furthermore, a full restart of the device following a complete uninstallation (including the deletion of residual data) before reinstalling from the Google Play Store may help.     Hi, and thanks for posting. Short answer: history+ won't give you what you're after, because it contains historical weather simulations (a reanalysis-style archive), not an archive of the forecasts as they were originally issued. The Forecast API can return past forecasts via the history_days parameter, but only for the previous 4 days, so it isn't suitable for a 3-year comparison either. A few useful things to know: The history+ archive is built from weather simulations (NEMS, ERA5 and local high-resolution models), not from station measurements. It's a very good reference for "what the weather actually did" at a location, but it isn't raw observational data, and it isn't a record of what was forecast at the time. For a true forecast-versus-observation study over multiple years, you'd need (a) an archive of the forecasts as issued on each day, and (b) a reference dataset to compare against (either station observations or a reanalysis like ERA5 from history+ or the Dataset API). An archive of past forecasts going back years isn't part of the standard self-service offering. If this is for a specific project, the best route is to write to support@meteoblue.com with the locations, time range and variables you need. The team can advise on whether a custom dataset or a tailored verification extract is feasible. If it would help, let us know a bit more about what you're trying to achieve (research, due diligence on forecast quality for a site, model selection, etc.) and we can point you at the most useful next step.
