Hello Frank, That is indeed unusual, especially since your Premium subscription is already active. It would be best if we could look into this in detail; to do so, it would be helpful if you could submit a support ticket. That way, we can investigate the specific cause of the issue and assist you as quickly as possible. Thank you very much for your patience!

Hello Massimo, and thank you for your question. We appreciate your positive feedback on the meteoblue iOS app. Your suggestion to add a semi-transparent circular background behind the white icons in our widgets to improve visibility on light wallpapers has been noted and forwarded to our development team for consideration in future updates. At present, our widgets do not support this feature, and no workaround is available. We are actively working on various widget improvements, including potential background styling changes, as part of ongoing development. We hope we were able to answer your questions and wish you pleasant weather with meteoblue.

Hello, and thank you for your question. The slower loading times you experience with the meteogram are known and can be influenced by factors such as multimodel meteograms requiring more data, app cache issues, or device-specific app update effects. On iOS, timer logic can mark meteograms as updated even if data is old, requiring a manual refresh to load fresh data. Troubleshooting steps include fully closing and reopening the app, refreshing the meteogram preview, restarting the device, or reinstalling the app. Developers are aware of caching and zoom-related performance issues and plan a new meteogram implementation in future updates to improve loading times. Temporary workarounds include using the website on a mobile browser or force-restarting the app. We hope we were able to answer your questions and wish you pleasant weather with meteoblue.

Hello, and thank you for your question. The meteoblue iOS app does not currently include moon phases as a feature. Advanced astronomy data, including detailed moon phases, are available only on the meteoblue website and not within the mobile app. The app is designed to provide a fast, clear weather overview optimized for smartphones and low-bandwidth conditions, which excludes moon phase displays. You can access moon phases and other astronomy features through the meteoblue website on a mobile browser. We hope we were able to answer your questions and wish you pleasant weather with meteoblue.

Hi, sorry about the bug. You are not the only one who noticed it. We're working very hard on the fix. Unfortunately this includes code review by AppStore and other steps whose speed we are not able to influence. Please give us a bit more time. The fixed app should be pushed within the next 24 hours. P. S. In all honesty, Windy has nothing to do with this.

Hello, and thank you for your question. meteoblue relays official severe weather warnings issued by national meteorological authorities, which are updated approximately every 5 minutes and cannot be modified by meteoblue. While official warnings may come shortly after weather changes begin, meteoblue offers tools such as nowcasting, radar data, ensemble forecasts, predictability indices, and precipitation probabilities to help anticipate fast-changing weather conditions before official warnings are issued. However, custom or advance warnings beyond official alerts are not currently supported. Minute-by-minute updates are limited by model and data constraints, so rapid weather changes may sometimes occur before official warnings are issued. We hope we were able to answer your questions and wish you pleasant weather with meteoblue.

Hello, and thank you for your question. The meteoblue mobile apps currently display time only in the 24-hour format and do not offer an option to switch to the 12-hour (AM/PM) format. On the meteoblue website, the time format is fixed by design and cannot be manually changed, although it may display times in 12-hour format if your browser is set accordingly. The API also does not support AM/PM time formats, and time zone settings do not influence the 12/24-hour display. We hope we were able to answer your questions and wish you pleasant weather with meteoblue.

@Miloslav-Tlamicha said in RainSpot Widget: Hi, thanks for asking! This is partially explained here. In short: rainSPOT shows accumulated precipitation over a rolling period ending at the displayed time, so the values shift with the hour, they're not fixed for the day. At 15:00, for example, you'd see: Hourly mode: precipitation from 14:00–15:00 3-hourly mode: precipitation from 12:00–15:00 Hope that clears it up :) Out of curiosity: how frequently do you use rainSPOT? Is it one of your favorite functionalities? Thanks for the response! However, it does not answer my question. There is no indication whether it is in hourly or 3-hourly mode. Neither the widget nor the app itself tell anything about it, and also do not allow any customization beside the location. Here is a screenshot: [image: 1776844627336-img_0912.png] It would be great to show not only the expected precipitation amount but also the time of day. And yes, I like rainSPOT for a quick glance whether to expect any rain, and if yes only then to head to the weather radar. I would love an Apple Watch widget :))

Hi, we would like to clarify that the predictability feature has not been removed. With the recent redesign, it is now displayed in a different visual format - as “target” icons (concentric circles), similar to how it is presented on the meteoblue website. These symbols still represent the same predictability information, indicating the level of forecast certainty. We understand that this change may not be immediately obvious, and we appreciate your feedback. Please let us know if anything remains unclear - we are happy to assist.

Thanks for the feedback :) We'll consider this in the future!

@Miloslav-TlamichaNo. That's not the problem. I work with the national weather warning system and noticed that the application shows the time when the warning was posted, not when it will take effect. You can see it in the screenshot. This problem is observed in some weather services. There are no such problems in the desktop versions. Only in mobile apps.

@M-Quao said in Feels like: Will you be adding “feels like” to the current temperature? Currently, I believe that only the “actual temperature“ is reported. Hello, Thank you for your inquiry! We understand that when it’s particularly windy or humid, the "feels like" temperature is often the most important number for planning your day. To keep our main displays as clear and consistent as possible, we follow these guidelines: Main Screen & Graphs: We display the actual air temperature (measured at 2 meters above the ground). This provides a standardized scientific baseline optimized for your specific location. The "Feels Like" Detail: Because factors like wind chill, humidity, and solar radiation change how the air feels on your skin, we include the perceived temperature in the Hourly and Daily views. You can easily find it there, marked by the small hand icon 🖐️. We appreciate your feedback on how these values are displayed. It helps us understand what information is most vital to our users as we continue to develop the app's interface. Wishing you a pleasant week and great weather!

@fredo said in Upcoming features: Hello, Is a new meteoblue website planned for 2026? THANK YOU. Hi Fredo! yes indeed. We're currently working on a major website redesign. There will be a feedback survey launched with it too, so please make sure to tell us what you think :) The final version of the redesign will be out very soon. On top of that, we will be adding new tools and features to a wide variety of our services, so please stay tuned! All of these will be announced in our Website News as well as on our social media :)
