Hello, We looked into this and found that there were some discrepancies in some of our weather data last night. This likely explains the reversed display of day and night temperatures that you described. We’re currently investigating internally to determine the exact cause so that this doesn’t happen again in the future. In the meantime, however, the data should have returned to normal, so the displayed values should be correct again.

Hello, Thank you very much for your message and it’s good to hear that everything is back to normal now! Unfortunately, these kinds of minor glitches happen from time to time usually only for a short while and then resolve on their own, just as they did for you. We’re sorry that this caused some confusion for a moment. If you notice something like this again, please feel free to submit a support ticket we’ll look into it.

The English version looks correct, not sure about other languages

Hello, and thank you for your question. The meteoblue app provides daily weather forecasts; however, the display of detailed forecast data depends on the respective update cycle and is sometimes only available one day in advance. The weather data is updated automatically, but you can also refresh it manually by clicking the arrow icon on the home screen. If there is no internet connection, the app will display cached data, which may be out of date. We recommend the following steps if you continue to see only limited forecasts: Check your internet connection. Keep the app up to date. Clear the app’s cache (in your device settings under App Management). If necessary, uninstall and reinstall the app. We hope we’ve answered your questions and wish you pleasant weather with meteoblue.

Hello, and thank you for your question. The two meteograms for LSZK Speck-Fehraltorf may differ because they can originate from different forecast update times or model runs, resulting in variations in timing or forecast values. They might also be based on different forecast systems or models with distinct spatial and temporal resolutions, which influences the displayed data. Additionally, the embedded meteogram on the weather map and the all-in-one meteogram may use different data sources or resolutions, causing discrepancies. The terrain altitude shown in the meteograms is based on the average altitude of the grid cell rather than the exact location altitude, which can affect the visual representation, especially in areas with complex terrain. We hope we were able to answer your questions and wish you pleasant weather with meteoblue.

Hello, and thank you for your question. Radar maps can sometimes show outdated or frozen data with incorrect timestamps due to server-side processing issues or interruptions in the third-party radar data feeds. This problem may occur across different platforms and browsers, including Edge and Chrome on Windows 10. Common troubleshooting steps such as reloading the page, switching locations, restarting the device, or updating the browser often resolve the issue. However, if the problem persists, it is usually caused by an interruption in the satellite data stream that only the third-party provider can address. meteoblue prioritizes resolving these issues and typically fixes them within a few hours. We hope we were able to answer your questions and wish you pleasant weather with meteoblue.

extra info as i cant edit anymore : When i open the map with the satellite images, it isnt just low res, but also 30+ minutes behind like now it is 21:50 but i cannot get maps younger than 21:15 example : [image: 1782676382200-26caab67-8707-4abd-a913-1882dbd4f9a0-afbeelding.png]

Hello and thank you for your enquiry. We have recently experienced temporary server-side issues that may result in HTTP 502 and 500 errors, which could explain the error messages you are seeing. These errors may be caused by server overload, maintenance work or temporary server downtime. Furthermore, client-side factors, such as browser cache, network settings or ad blockers, can also cause this type of error. You have already reinstalled the app, which is a good step. We hope this information has been helpful and wish you a pleasant time with meteoblue.

Hello and thank you for your question. On Android, if clearing the cache and reinstalling the app does not resolve the issue of maps and radar not displaying, it is possible that a system-wide ad blocker, such as Blokada, is preventing the necessary network requests. We recommend disabling this type of app or whitelisting meteoblue. Furthermore, a full restart of the device following a complete uninstallation (including the deletion of residual data) before reinstalling from the Google Play Store may help. We hope we have answered your questions and wish you a pleasant experience with meteoblue.

Hello, and thank you for your question. meteoblue weather forecasts and maps are shown in the local time zone of the selected location by default. However, there are known issues with time and date display, including time zone discrepancies and time jumps. The 12-hour time jump you observed is uncommon and may be related to bugs in handling time zones or daylight saving time transitions. Some maps, such as satellite or radar, display UTC instead of local time, which can cause apparent shifts. The API also does not adjust for daylight saving time changes within the forecast period. Please note that there is no manual option to change the displayed time zone on the app or website, as it depends on the selected location. We recommend verifying your device’s time zone settings as a possible workaround. We hope we were able to answer your questions and wish you pleasant weather with meteoblue.

Ok perfect :)

@pawciosta said in [Weather Today/ Live satellite map/ Measured temperatures ] Too big label margins hide temperatures: I'm curious how much it depends on metoblue or map supplier but label margins are too big [image: 1769463183881-screenshot-2024-10-11-at-18-06-39-1-weather-sighthill-meteoblue.png] This is a temperature map, so a small black dot for the town location should not block displaying temperature, especially when towns are areas, not dots. Often I have to click 4 times because with bigger zoom new labels appear. On bigger zoom temperatures on the temperature map should have priority, also above location name. I guess most users know map well, so they can point a neighbourhood or a village without labels in their area. If you can't decrease label margin I'll be grateful for an option to switch off labels. Temperature locations do not change often, so another option would be calculating optimal label locations from time to time, at least for coast locations, but I'm not sure if it would be worth the effort. QGIS does automatic labelling very well, so algorithms used in QGIS could be an inspiration. Hello, and thank you for your question. meteoblue maps use background maps and labels provided by third-party suppliers, which limits our ability to control label placement and margins directly. Large margins around town names and small markers can sometimes obscure temperature values, particularly in densely populated or coastal areas. Currently, there is no option to hide or toggle map labels, but zooming in can help reveal obscured temperature information. The language and content of map labels depend on the map supplier and zoom level, with limited possibilities for modification on our side. We hope we were able to answer your questions and wish you pleasant weather with meteoblue.
