We are working on the implementation and adding the models to our system. However, a full integration will take time as a certain historic period is required for our machine learning to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the new models in order to consider them properly in the consensus forecast. However the display of just raw model output in maps and multimodel diagrams will be released much earlier as that is a much easier thing to do.

Hi Tom, Good question, and short answer: point+ won't get you there either road surface temperature isn't shown as its own layer or graph anywhere on meteoblue, neither on the free site nor in point+. We do model related values like soil temperature (top 10 cm) and skin/surface temperature, but right now those live in our professional weather API packages (Agro package, History API) rather than the private website products. If you just want a rough feel for frost/ice risk for personal use, the Meteogram SNOW (temperature profile + snow cover) combined with hourly air temperature and precipitation type is probably your best bet in point+ not an exact road temp, but a decent proxy. If you actually need real road surface temperature (e.g. for winter road maintenance or route planning), that's something we offer through our business solutions for Transport & Logistics, with route-based forecasts recalculated roughly every 10 min. Meteoblue Premium Subscription "point+" – rainNOW: Promise vs. Reality I recently subscribed to Meteoblue’s Premium "point+" plan, primarily for the advertised rainNOW feature. According to the description, this nowcasting service should display precipitation in 15-minute intervals for the next 2 hours and the past 4 hours, with updates every 15 minutes, 24 hours a day. Unfortunately, the reality is different: On the web version, I only see 1 hour and 20 minutes of forecast—not the promised 2 hours. The 4-hour backward view is also missing. This is disappointing, as I was counting on this feature for precise precipitation data to plan my tours along the North and Baltic Seas. Has anyone else experienced this with Meteoblue? Or is there a setting I might have missed? I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Hi Rob, as Kevin said, on Android this is currently not possible. It is planned to implement the feature, but we can not give a date yet.

As part of our cooperation program for scientific or humanitarian projects, meteoblue offers students and researchers free access to historical weather data for 3 locations through our history+ interface and to weather forecast data through our Free Weather API. Free Weather API is an automated meteoblue product and the easiest way to test the meteoblue weather API. It is available for free for one year, and includes 10 million credits. For historical data, we provide a free access to our unique weather archive through history+ (for up to 3 locations) or with a high discount (for more locations or complex requests) for as long as you are using our standard data without special requirements (this includes and requires correspondence in English). The historical weather data available through the history+ interface are simulation data with high precision (stored forecasts, not measurements). Usually, they are more precise than measurement data from a station more than 10 to 50 km away from the desired location, they will be 100% complete (which very seldom happens for measurements), much more detailed (everything based on hourly intervals), available since 1940 and valid also for places without measurements. Hello, We took a closer look at the anomaly you reported and found that there were indeed discrepancies in some of our weather data on the night in question. This likely explains the reversed or shifted display of day and night temperatures that you described and also why you noticed this issue in several locations around Le Chesnay and Louveciennes. With a genuine weather phenomenon like an inversion, such a consistent pattern across ten locations would be rather unusual, so we suspect this is more likely a bug. We’re continuing to investigate internally to determine exactly what triggered this, so that something like this doesn’t happen again in the future. However, the data should have returned to normal by now, so the displayed values should be accurate again. If you notice the anomaly again in the coming days, please let us know via a support ticket ideally including the location and time so we can specifically check whether the pattern is recurring.
